Infrastructure

Print E-mail
“For all the shortcomings of the old South African economy, there was at the very least significant development of the country's "developed world" infrastructure over several decades. This considerable transportation, energy and communications infrastructure has not been broken down since the change of government; on the contrary it has been used as a platform for further development. This puts us in a far stronger position than virtually any of the former colonies in Africa, which were left devoid of tarred roads, airports, harbors, telecommunications, educational institutions, and so on. We can use our existing infrastructure and build on it to grow South Africa from a good economy into a great one.”
